The Ohio Department of Health, Community Partners, Hennepin Technical College, and the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of AACN invite you to join us for our continuing professional development and education webinar series. An enlightening presentation and interactive discussion on  “Paramedicine in Disaster Environments: The Reality of Improvise, Adapt and Overcome”, by Jeffrey Scott. Continuing education for EMS and Nursing will be awarded by Hennepin Technical College and the Paramedic Network™.

Guest Speaker: Jeffrey Scott, 

Ohio Paramedic, Firefighter II, Police Officer, Training Officer, Flight Paramedic

Jeff is a 35 year veteran in Public Safety. Most recently, Jeffrey retired as the Chief of Police with Notre Dame College and was the former Executive Director of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission.  Jeffrey has extensive experience in both small and large agencies for both Law Enforcement and EMS, including his time working for NASA at the John Glenn Space Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he was the Incident Commander and Emergency Management Specialist and the National Registry Office as the Re-registration Coordinator.  Jeffrey is an active instructor and firearms instructor in Law Enforcement, an author, and a nationally recognized expert and speaker.  Jeffrey is a former Paramedic Instructor and remains active teaching ACLS and PALS.  Jeffrey is a former Flight Paramedic and has extensive experience and background in Critical Care Transport (ground and air).  Jeffrey is also an Ordained Lutheran Pastor (17-years) and is presently serving as a part-time Pastor over a congregation in Millersburg, Ohio (heart of Amish country).  Jeffrey has a 10-year old daughter and he is active in supporting her competitive cheer activities, practices, and competitions.  He also enjoys doing handyman projects, landscaping, cooking, community volunteer projects, and teaching firearms/CCW courses.  Jeffrey also serves on the Ashland University Gridiron Board of Directors and supporting AU Football and athletics.
