Practitioner Challenges and PTSD

Purpose: We aim to foster a scholarly community dedicated to excellence and innovation in community health, healthcare, education, research, and practice. Our goal is to transform the healthcare system through a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach that bridges the gap between mental and physical health, ultimately saving lives.

2025 Conference Objectives

  1. Integrate medical and mental health across the continuum of care, including EMS response, mobile crisis teams, medical emergency services, psychiatric emergency services, intensive care units, and practitioner challenges such as PTSD.
  2. Develop innovative strategies to connect medical and mental health in the community.
  3. Discuss the impact of current and emerging programs and workforce solutions.
  4. Analyze the effects of social and physical contexts on populations, emphasizing health equity and disparities.
  5. Present new research and evidence supporting best community health and healthcare practices.
  6. Evaluate the consequences of recent social and political events on community and public health.
