Posted 3 days ago

Hello Members!

Hospital workforce issues have been elevated to a strategic priority. As hospital needs continue to evolve, we are committed to address them through advocacy, education, and collaboration.

Starting in September, a free 6-part virtual “Workforce Lunch & Learn” series will be offered. These sessions will not only offer insights into the current healthcare workforce landscape but will also be used as a time to network, share best practices, and work together to identify innovative solutions to address existing challenges.

Here is a quick overview of the content that will be shared throughout the series:

  • Strategies for success in onboarding Healthcare Quality professionals.
  • Intentional workforce planning, strategic sourcing methods, and actionable strategies to build sustainable healthcare talent pipelines.
  • Strategies to cultivate the next generation of diverse healthcare leaders and ensure a resilient and equitable healthcare workforce, through mentorship, accessible educational pathways, inclusive workplace cultures, and organizational innovation.
  • Workforce planning metrics and the impact of operational vacancies on staffing efficiency, premium pay, and patient care.
  • Workforce challenges and the innovative strategies, cultural transformation, and leadership approaches needed to overcome them and drive workforce innovation in healthcare.
  • Healthcare staffing, hiring practices, and generational dynamics in the workforce.
