Call for Chapter Leadership Nominations

The AACN Greater Cincinnati Chapter (AACN-GCC), in partnership with the AACN National Office, is excited to announce the opening of the call for future leadership nominations.  

Volunteering with AACN-GCC enhances personal and professional growth. As a volunteer, you will help advance the AACN mission to enhance excellence in acute and critical care for nurses, patients, and families. You will be an integral part of our mission and vision, actively promoting healthy work environments, ensuring evidence-based practices, and advocating for certification. Are you ready to embrace this challenge?

Authentic leaders are skilled communicators and team builders, committed to fostering positive change through service. We seek visionary individuals from all experience levels—novice or seasoned—who actively collaborate and contribute fresh perspectives. Novice nurses often underestimate their value; however, their unique insights and innovative ways of learning are crucial for keeping our chapter dynamic and engaged.

This year, we will be holding elections for the following positions:

• President-Elect
• Secretary-Elect
• Treasurer-Elect
• Workshop Chair-Elect

The elections will take place in April. All terms will begin July 1 2026.

In addition to the elected positions, there are also opportunities available for anyone interested in serving as a committee chair. 

These appointments will be made by the president. All terms will begin July 1 2026.
